Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA)

ITA (Aragon Technological Institute) is a public body whose task is to promote the research, development and the technological upgrading of companies of Aragon region. The Institute is located at a technology campus alongside Zaragoza's main research and development centres. The target of ITA is to meet every possible need of the competitive and modernising world of industry, with special interest given to small and medium-sized companies. The Institute acts as a catalyst to promote the region's technological resources, as well as to encourage research and development aimed at making economic, social, territorial and environmental improvements, having a relevant role in the Multimedia Systems and Communication and Networks areas.

Role within the MHP-KDB project:
ITA continues its activity as catalyst of technology having special role in development knowledge (application and tools) in order to contribute in the establishment of MHP Knowledge. Furthermore taking advantage of different and multidisciplinary groups of the Institute, it will collaborate in technical parts of the MHP-KDB infrastructure ensuring a helpful and fruitful project. For the dissemination part, ITA will participate in MHP events, specially in national groups and programs responsible for promote MHP. Also according to its tasks as technological institute, it will introduce MHP technology among regional company using its know-how transfer channels.
